Rick has advised small and medium sized businesses for over 20 years. The first 13 years with two Canadian Chartered Banks, and the past 7 years in a consultative role with two Corporate Finance Advisory firms. He has been directly involved in advising over 250 business owners, and senior management teams, on financings, divestitures, acquisitions, and shareholder buyouts. Rick is passionate about helping growing private companies, under $250 million in revenues; realize their goals through matching them with the appropriate financial partners.
Rick is responsible for building working relationships with financial institutions, investors, and financial intermediaries throughout all of Meridian’s geographical markets. In this role he also acts as a resource for Meridian clients and potential clients. Rick’s experience with senior debt transactions in addition to alternative capital is a value-add he seeks to share in every client interaction.
